- 1 package Sea Cuisine Smart Ingredients Mediterranean Wild Alaska Salmon
- 2 each sesame seed buns
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped *Fresh herbs are always best, but there’s no shame in using dried herbs, either!
- 1 large ripe yellow tomato, sliced into rounds
- 1 small red onion, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 cup baby arugula

Whether you’re at a family cookout, graduation party, or having friends over to binge together on the latest TV craze, there’s a good chance burgers [turkey, black bean, mini sliders, the list goes on!] will show up too. Next time you’re considering serving up a “burger,” consider a fish fillet instead. Your guests surely will be impressed with such a simple and healthy swap plus the benefits of high protein and Omega-3s! Lay out lots of fresh toppings so your guests can make it their own!
- Cook Wild Alaska Salmon according to package instructions.
- While that’s happening, let’s get pickl’in! In a small bowl, toss the onion with the red wine vinegar, salt, and sugar. Allow it to quickly marinate while the Wild Alaska Salmon finishes cooking. *You can quick-pickle lots of veggies this way, like bell peppers, carrots, and cucumbers.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise and fresh herbs together, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Ladies and gentlemen… assemble your sandwiches! *Optional step: lightly toast buns in the oven for a deliciously crunchy bite! Spread herb mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Top with cooked Wild Alaska Salmon, tomato, pickled onions, and arugula. Dig in!
- For the best food quality and safety, cook fish to a minimum internal temperature of 155°F.
